I was born and raised in New York and recently relocated to North Carolina! I earned my Bachelors in Psychology and my Master’s in Social Work from Stony Brook University. My experience is at an elementary school, where I provided group and individual therapy, crisis intervention, and supported students through community outreach efforts, including food distribution and donating clothes and toys throughout the year. My second internship was at an inpatient psychiatric hospital serving adolescents through adults, where I provided crisis intervention and short-term therapeutic services. In my work as an adolescent, child, and teen counselor in the Fuquay-Varina area, I focus on helping young clients build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and develop practical strategies to manage stress, navigate challenges at home or school, and strengthen overall social-emotional well-being.

Currently at my office in Fuquay-Varina, I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Strengths-Based modalities when counseling older children and teens.
