Personal experience guided me to the field of mental health. This life experience allows me to quickly develop trust and rapport with the children and adolescents I work with as clients. It is through these connections that we are able to develop a strong therapeutic relationship and progress together toward identified goals. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, strengths based, and solution focused. I value the process of discovering what motivates each individual, and utilize creative and engaging interventions to encourage self exploration and individual growth. My approach is influenced by a variety of theories, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I am also actively pursuing certification to become a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). I am so very excited to be part of the team at Willow Creek and look forward to connecting with you and your families in a space of acceptance, honesty, laughter, and non-judgement.
