Born and raised in North Carolina, it truly is my home! I completed my Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work at Appalachian State University. With a background working with adults facing addiction and homelessness, my work focuses on holistic and individual care. I also have a strong personal dedication to supporting women with fertility complications, perinatal mood disorders, and challenges in motherhood.

I have experience treating the following mental health conditions: 

• Anxiety and adjustment disorders

• Depression and other mood disorders

• Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

• Perinatal mood disorders

• Trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)

• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder 

• Suicide assessment, intervention, and prevention

My passions as a therapist are rooted in the ideas that self acceptance and understanding lead to holistic healing. I firmly believe every client deserves equitable access to affordable, high-quality mental health care and resources to mitigate societal marginalization. As a therapist, I acknowledge how intersectionalities can impact the therapeutic relationship and recognize my own biases in order to better serve my clients. My clinical approach incorporates person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),  and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) modalities.
