Jillian Vines -
Fuquay-Varina
MSW, LCSWA
I’m originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, and I’ve always been drawn to supporting others through life’s challenges. After completing my Bachelor’s in Social Work at UNC Wilmington in 2024, I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kentucky in 2025, with a certification in Clinical Social Work. I’m currently working toward full licensure as an LCSWA and bring experience in both crisis support and counseling. My passion lies in walking alongside adults as they care for their mental health, find resilience, and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
I have extensive experience treating the following mental health conditions:Â
Variety of anxiety disorders
Adjustment disorders
Depression and other mood disorders
Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Interpersonal violence
Suicide assessment, intervention, and prevention
In addition, I am also able to help individuals understand and cope with the following issues:
Stress management
Women’s issues
Life transitionsÂ
Parent coaching (Infancy through young adulthood)
Emotional regulation
Self-imageÂ
My approach to therapy is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can share your thoughts and emotions without judgment. I know that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to ease that transition and help you feel comfortable as we begin. I use a variety of evidence-based techniques—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Strengths-Based Therapy—while always centering your voice and goals in the process. Together, we’ll explore what you hope to gain from therapy and design a plan tailored specifically to your needs. I am here to walk alongside you, supporting and encouraging you every step of the way.
