Sarah Riley

LCSW

I grew up on a farm in Southern Virginia and attended Radford University, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Sociology in 2006 and my Master’s in Social Work in 2009. My primary focus during my graduate education was Adolescent Mental Health and Substance Abuse.

Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience working with a wide range of ages, from young preschoolers and teens to adults and families. My practice is inclusive of diverse cultural backgrounds and a variety of clinical diagnoses. I am dedicated to providing a place of safety where clients can express their truths and solve the issues that are most important to them.

  • Copings Skills: Stress Management, Emotion Regulation, and Distress Tolerance.

  • Specialized Interventions: Safe & Sound Protocol.

I am passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, employing an intersectional lens to ensure therapy is inclusive and tailored to each individual's unique perspective.
