Mike Przybowski
LCMHCA
Originally hailing from New Jersey with a stop in Chicago before calling North Carolina home for the last 24 years, I am a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a Master’s Degree in Education-School Counseling. My professional background is extensive and varied; I spent 16 years as a Professional School Counselor and four years as a mental health and medical case manager. Before entering the counseling field, I gained diverse life experience working in sales, technology, banking, manufacturing, and the restaurant industry.
I currently hold an NC LCMHC-A license and provide support to older elementary (Age 8) - teenagers, adults, parents, and couples. As a husband of 24 years and a father of two busy teenagers, I bring a grounded, real-world perspective to my work, having also spent years coaching youth sports and navigating the complexities of the public education system.
I am currently working towards a standard LCMHC license and desire to continue my growth in both Trauma (EMDR) and Marriage and Family (LMFT) work.

“Don’t Give Up…Don’t Ever Give Up!” - Jimmy V (Coach Jim Valvano)
I’m not even an NC State fan, but these are wise words. During his famous ESPY speech, Coach Jimmy V implored all of us to take time to laugh, to cry (be moved to experience emotion), and to think. If you or your child is struggling in life to be able to do these things and reach the goals or the vision you have planned, I’d be grateful to walk beside you and support you in your journey!
