Kaelyn Mora

LCSWA

A New York native now residing in North Carolina, I earned my Bachelor’s in Social Work from Molloy University in 2020 and my Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University in 2021. My early professional experience includes internships with nonprofits supporting the LGBTQ+ community, as well as work in youth gang prevention and intervention programs, where I provided both group facilitation and individual counseling to children and teens. These experiences focused on empowering individuals in at-risk communities through empathy, connection, and meaningful support.

I also served as a Peace Corps Education Volunteer for two years, where I gained a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity and helped lead a volunteer support committee to guide peers through complex challenges. I am currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) and am passionate about providing compassionate, culturally responsive care to children, teens, and families.

I believe that healing begins within a safe and authentic therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges and move toward growth and resilience.

Areas of Focus

  • Children & Teens: I work with children and teens in a way that feels comfortable and natural to them, using conversation, creativity, and play-based techniques to help them express themselves. I focus on building confidence, strengthening emotional regulation, and helping them feel more successful in their relationships, school, and daily life.

  • Adults:  support adults in navigating life transitions, stress, and emotional challenges by creating a supportive and collaborative space. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
