Erin Moncure
Co-founder, LCMHC, LMFT
I grew up in Huntsville, Alabama, and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia. I went on to complete my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.
I am a dual-licensed clinician in North Carolina, holding both Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credentials. I am also a Co-Founder of Willow Creek Counseling, where I am passionate about supporting children, individuals, couples, and families as they navigate growth, healing, and meaningful change.
My work is grounded in the belief that people are capable of deep healing when given the right support, safety, and understanding. I strive to create a collaborative and trusting space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to move toward the life and relationships they want.
Areas of Expertise
IndividualsI support adults navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, and personal growth. Therapy focuses on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and supporting meaningful change.
Couples & FamiliesI work with couples and families to improve communication, strengthen connection, and navigate conflict in healthier ways. My goal is to help create more understanding and balance within relationships.
Children & TeensI support children and adolescents as they work through emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. My approach helps young clients build confidence, emotional awareness, and healthy coping skills.
Therapeutic Approach
My approach is strengths-based and collaborative. I believe every person and family already has strengths that can support healing and growth. Therapy is about identifying those strengths and building on them in a meaningful way.
I view change as a process that requires both support and intention. While some shifts happen quickly, most meaningful growth unfolds over time. I walk alongside clients through that process, offering structure, encouragement, and practical tools to support lasting change.
A strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work, and I prioritize creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported.
